Krabi, featuring a few splendid beaches, is a town located on the western coast in the southern part of Thailand, where the Krabi River meets the Andaman Sea, being the capital city of the Krabi province and Krabi district.

Since 1999 the town is served by the Krabi Airport, located at west to the town. Many holiday makers cross Krabi on their way to the more popular beach resorts from nearby like Ko Phi Phi Island, Railay Beach, Ao Nang, Ko Jum, Phuket and Ko Lanta.

Temple Tham Seua Wat is the largest in Krabi, its name means "Tiger Cave Temple" and the main attraction is represented by a footprint believed as belonging to Buddha.
